Catching Lightning Bugs
In late summer when I was a kid we'd go outside when the sun went down.
We stuffed fresh grass in our parent's mason jars.
I would catch lightening bugs running around in the field at night with my brother and neighbors and cousins.
We used aluminum foil for the lid. We punched holes in the top so they could breathe.
When it was time for bed we brought them inside for a living nightlight.
Catch & Release - practice releasing them back in the wild so they will come back next year.
We love carrying quality products for everyday living like mason jars and canning supplies.
