Happy Bell-Outlet Customer

Even when there is a problem, we strive to do our best to make our customers happy. Just a short while ago we had a dilemma come up with some of our bells not being able to find their location once they were shipped out. So since the customer is located in the same state, a person from the warehouse the bells had shipped from did a personal delivery to ensure that they made it to their location in time for the game that they were purchased for. Here is the email from our customer:

Kim,

I just wanted to let you know that somebody just dropped off the cow bells at the house. I wish we were able to get in touch with them before they made that long drive here but I so totally appreciate you going WAY above and beyond to make sure that they got here by this afternoon.

The bells look amazing and they were definitely worth the wait. We will be ordering again for sure. Hopefully I can get the league to order a much larger quantity for next year.

Happy Thanksgiving

 Here at Red Hill General Store we have many things to be thankful for.  We are thankful for you, our customer.  We are thankful for our neighbors, community, family, and our friends.  We are thankful that we have the opportunity to offer all the unique items we have at the best prices we can.  And we are thankful for each day that we make a customer smile.

Here at Red Hill General Store we are getting ready for our Black Friday Sale!  Also we have been doing some gabbing on the side about our plans for Thanksgiving the day.  Everyone has a special dish they are fixing for that huge get together later this week.  But we want to hear from you!  Our customer and our reader, what are YOU fixing this holiday?  Did you blog about it?  Share your blog link if so, if not just share in the comments.  We look forward to seeing what your plans are for this Thanksgiving.

Opossum Trapped

We had some pictures sent to our email from someone who owns a Havahart 1079 live animal trap that they purchased through Red Hill General Store.  And I thought I would share them with you.  It is a great example of how user and animal friendly the Havahart Traps are. 

Isn't that one adorable marsupial? 

To catch this possum, cut apples were used as bait.   And to quote the owner of this humane trap:

"One never knows what wildlife you might find around our barn. We have also caught feral cats, groundhogs, skunks, and a raccoon with the same trap. All animals were released back into the wild without any harm."  

And that last sentence is an important one when it comes to Havahart.  It is all in the name.  If you have pesky animals, Have A Heart, remove them humanely.
