Need more cowbell?

Sometimes you just need a day to relax and watch some old favorite tv shows. I was watching some SNL season DVDs and saw this and thought of our Cowbells at Red Hill General Store. It gave me a laugh, hope to share that laugh with you today.

New Artisan Wares

We have a local artist who is selling some of her beautiful hand painted items in our store.  I hope I am able to get her to do a quick little interview with me next week.  But she is a local artist; she paints nature scenes on milk bottles, cowbells, ornaments, buckets, glasses, and more.  Right now in our store we have some of the milk bottles she has painted:

I love how the glass milk bottles turned out with the paint on them.

Football

Our local area is full of die hard football fans, so in our store we provide them with their Hokie gear:

We also have the best noise makers to take with you to your next football game...The Cowbell...this is definitely a great tradition to continue, from best I can tell this tradition stems all the way back to the late 1920s.  The cowbell has had its ups and downs with football throughout the years and it is banned by some football stadiums, so know the rules before you bring your ringing mini-trophy.  If it were up to us as to whether you could have your cowbell at every game and every stadium we would vote "More Cowbell!"  We off cowbells on our sister site: http://bell-outlet.com.
