Our interview with Santa!

The time is drawing near when Santa Claus will be making his appearance here at Red Hill General Store. We scheduled a phone interview with Mr. Claus and despite it being his busiest time of the year; he made time to speak with us. 

How is the weather at the North Pole? 

It is very cold with lots of snow! I am looking forward to coming down to Red Hill General Store to have a chance warm up from all of this bitter cold weather up here at the North Pole! I am also excited about seeing all the good boys and girls who come out to see me!!! Ho ho ho!!!

What is the best part about being Santa Claus? 

I love to see the sparkle in eyes of the children when they visit me! I enjoy listening to them tell me about how they were good little boys and girls. But the best part is the milk and cookies they leave me on Christmas Eve!

What is the names of the miniature horses?

We have Angel, Snowflake, Whiskers, Mistletoe, Candy Cane, and Blizzard. 

Is there anything that the children and parents need to know? 

The children are more than welcome to pet and even sit on the horses but please do not feed the horses. The horses are on a special diet and they will not pull the sleigh as well if they are fed any other food. The horses love their noses rubbed and to be petted but please don't pull their ears. They have sensitive ears and it really hurts them.
