What is Peanut Butter Schmier?

If you have been in our Hillsville, VA retail store then you may have noticed our line of Jake & Amos line of food products. One of these is a peanut butter schmier.
So what is the difference of Peanut Butter Schmier and regular ol' peanut butter?

Peanut butter schmier is considered to be a dessert spread. It is thinner and sweeter than regular peanut butter. Peanut butter schmier is used more as a dessert topping or condiment than as a sandwich spread.

The Jake & Amos Peanut Butter Schmier contains: Roasted peanuts, sugar, partially hydrogenated vegetable oils (cottonseed, rapeseed and soybean), corn syrup, tapioca starch, egg white, artificial flavor, salt, tartaric acid, cellulose gum, honey, water, benzoate of soda.

Try peanut butter schmier on top of vanilla ice cream, spread on pound cake, graham crackers, or fruit. I know some people who really enjoy it on apple slices.
