Canning Jar Luminaries

While browsing on the blogsphere we came across an amazing project by Liz Taylor at Project Naptime.  She made some amazing Luminaries for Valentine's Day out of jars. They appear to be typical canning jars (also called mason jars by many).

Here is what Liz's project looks like:

And this is how Liz created them: (for more photos on how she did this please visit Liz's Valentine Luminaries Blog)

Supplies:
jars
mod podge
brush
tissue paper
card stock to make shapes

1.) Simply mod podge your jars and wrap in tissue paper. Let sit a few hours or over night.
2.) Place card stock on jar and mod podge the whole jar again. This gives it a nice coating.
3.) Place a string of white lights inside and wait for evening for beautiful Valentine luminaries.

Liz- Thank you so much for letting us feature your amazing project on our blog!
